Fast, fun stripped down and simple. A scorcher was the term applied to the bicycle bound hooligans in Denver in the late part of the 19th century. A time when the bicycle was beginning to replace the horse and was ridden freely through streets of Denver.
Scorchers today are similar in mindset but the term is applied to the bicycle not the rider. They are a minimalist bicycle harkening back to earlier times. Clean lines, a basic drivetrain with swept back handlebars and high volume tires capable of smoothing out the ride of rough city streets or country trails. They are about simplicity, speed, cruising comfort, fun and style.
